Spectral Analysis of Satellite Imagery Data Integrated with Magnetic and Geological Data for Mapping Gold Potential Targets in Mount Dimer Area, Western Australia (Completed), Client: Everest Minerals
Target Identification: Based on key orogenic gold & BIF mineralization indicators, targets were mapped within the licensed area & nearby Mount Dimer gold mining areas for follow-up ground exploration. Multispectral remote sensing data, such as WorldView-2, ASTER, and Sentinel-2A, as well as hyperspectral satellite imagery data, including EnMap and Prisma, were utilized in this project. Airborne magnetic data were used to map linear and circular structures, as well as linear magnetic anomalies.
Exploration Target Map: Indicator gold exploration signatures from spectral remote sensing, magnetic, geochemical, and geological data were extracted and integrated to highlight eight priority areas for follow-up field exploration. Potential target points are provided as a point shapefile in the delivered database.
